Toycraft

A normal toy store on the outside has a hidden Voodoo town within it. Just like in any town there are different kinds of habitants who reside here. Some good, some bad and some plain vain. Here are some of the people who live in this town.

My role is this project was that of a Co-Creative director. I was responsible for the storyline, the art style, the marketing and the generation planning of this project. For this I had to coordinate with artists as well as the people responsible for marketing and NFT generations.

We wanted to create an NFT collection with exciting background stories for its characters. In this toy store we have:

The Oldies, who are the dolls which were never bought and have been in this store for years now. They are the ones who have never been chosen and have lost hope in their lives. They have older designs and worn out features. The color palette is also muted and dull to further enhance their characteristics.

The Evils, are the dolls who have weapons attached to them. They are the bad apples in any town. The bullies, the outlaws, the troublemakers. These misunderstood are feared by the town and isolated from the rest. They have a more stronger color palette with sharper shapes and features.

The Money dolls are the vain bunch of the town. Kept up front for the customers to buy. They are the good looking and best ones. They have a more colorful palette and cuter designs.

The Snakes represent the pets one can have in a town. They have different animal skins which will be a representation of all animals in the wild.

The One of Ones are some of the dolls who are the special people in this town, They are the high class of this town who are completely unique to the collection.
